The botanical garden is the place for quiet walks and pondering. The garden is just on
the inside of the northern parts of the ring wall. Here you can find many eastern and
southern species that the seamen brought back, for example mulberries, walnut trees,
grapevines, acacia, magnolias and almond trees. The garden was founded by "De Badande
Wännerna" (The Bathing Friends) in 1856.
