The Roads on Gotland

On Gotland you can find a big number of beautiful winding roads, in many cases asphalted, for those who want to see the island from a car of from a motorbike. The richly branched off road-net, sometimes dates back to the 1600 century. With a road-net of totally 3 000 kilometres, there are a lot of bigger and smaller roads to discover. Make sure you have enough time to stop and enjoy what Gotland has to offer.

Respect the laws for driving cross-country. Driving cross-country often harms the easily damaged nature, and is there fore forbidden. This goes for fields, parks, meadows, forests and beaches. This is forbidden even where there are no signs about it.
